Tech Training Centre
It is being noticed that the competency levels within the industry on our product ranges are not up to the required level that will help grow the industry exponentially. All other markets that have grown exponentially (ex India) had large pool of trained people who could be employed directly. Sri Lanka is a country which spent lots of money and resources on education, but professional certifications from vendors were not accepted a norm for a long time. Therefore industry should get enhanced skills and knowledge on vendor certifications and other areas such as marketing, product trainings, licensing etc.

Tech Distribution is focusing on a small segment of the industry which is resellers, where the central nervous system of solution selling lies. Therefore we have decided to invest on the development of the reseller channel by having a dedicated training centre.

The training centre can occupy up to 20 people at a time and is open 5 Days a week for trainings. Training centre will be expected to be running trainings all five days in the week where the administration of the training will be 90% automated by, online booking system. Among the trainings we offer will be for sales people, trainings on products and product features. For purchasing, accounts and stores employees of our partners, about product types, how licensing products looks and purchase cycles and delivery procedures etc. For technical people, high end technical training classes conducted by professionals.

We are also looking for mutual knowledge share opportunities where if you are an expert in a specialist area, you can deliver a lecture at our Training Centre. To know how you can help improve your skills please send us an email to with your interests.

Tech Trainings at remote locations
Other than the trainings conducted at the centre there will be some training conducted at remote locations, such as Kandy, Galle, Trincomalee. These trainings are expected to be more products and feature oriented trainings and licensing and delivery mechanism etc. If you think that your city require a training covering specific area of our technologies, please send us a mail so we could discuss with you how we can organize training at your city.
Experience Centre
The Experience centre is a dedicated testing and pre staging services lab designed and deployed for the benefit of our partners. If you are a TechDistribution Lanka partner and need to test a particular product or a solution you could use our facility. The Experience Centre is equipped with 4 very high end machines running 4 virtual machines in each; this facility can be booked via internet and also is administered by the technical support team. Pre Sales Support
Also to enhance the market competencies to develop small and entry level partners to provide solutions, we are providing pre sales support, under a program themed “lending our wings for experiencing your first flight”.

Under the presales support program there will be technical sales specialists who will be placed with partners providing technical consultancy and presales support you to sell more and sell effectively. These technical support specialists will be placed with different resellers where we will identify the skills requirements of the resellers and will be rotated in predefined time intervals. Post Sales Support
Our Technical support team also provides, comprehensive after sales support to partners, which you can resell to the end users. This program is to encourage the small partners to enter in to the solution business where the initial investment on trained personnel is not required to start their businesses. In order to minimize the pressure developed by the large resellers the offering also has some special benefits if used by the larger partners.
News Letters and Updated Contacts
Weekly news letter to be sent via email to resellers via opt in registration process. As part of the update process a comprehensive data collection project is already in place to collect all the relevant information. The Newsletters are designed to communicate the current developments in the industry and we are looking forward to make this news letter the de facto standard in the distribution and industry news in the local market. If you are one of our partners you can submit new happenings to our editor and it will be included in our future news. We treat all news important including news about new contracts, humor, new placements, new products etc.
Advance Web Enabled Services

Tech Distribution will take the web based customer service and marketing to its next level for the reseller community by introducing the web based training booking system, web based experience centre booking system, web based on line tutorials, a web based FAQ with discussion group support, web based order tracking system and personalized web area for partners etc.
