Microsoft licensing solutions
Tech Distribution Lanka PVT Ltd distributes the
following licensing programs to its reseller partners.
- Open license program (OLP)
Microsoft OLP is a volume licensing program
where the licensee gains cost benefits for volume
purchases. The minimum requirement to obtain
an OLP license is 5 licenses.

- Original equipment manufacturer
license (OEM)
OEM license is available to pc manufacturers.
Licensed Microsoft products are pre installed
to pc’s with OEM licensing. OEM enables
the end user to download updates and patches
for the licensed software products.

- Fully packaged product
( FPP)
FPP is boxed, shrink-wrapped software. Licenses
for this type of software are acquired through
retail outlets. FPP is for consumers who are
looking for a small quantity of software licenses.

- Microsoft enterprise agreements
(EA)
Microsoft enterprise agreement is a software
volume licensing program designed for corporate
customers with 250 or more desktops. Enterprise
agreement enables a customer to standardize
a choice of Microsoft enterprise products at
discounted prices based on a three-year agreement
term.
