TechDistribution Limited, the Microsoft Authorised Distributor and a Large Account Reseller for Brunei Darussalam, recently added Microsoft COEM (Commercial Original Equipment Manufacturing) products under their product portfolio. With this announcement, Systems Builders (PC assemblers) and the PC resellers in Brunei Darussalam now can procure COEM products through local distribution channel, enabling enhanced services to the customers.

TechDistribution Limited is working closely with the IT reseller channel in Brunei Darussalam and this latest announcement will enhance the reseller community to better serve the market.

Microsoft COEM products are being sold bundled with brand new PCs. When someone purchases a new PC or a laptop computer, it can be purchased along with a COEM Licence of Operating Systems (Windows Vista) and this is the recommended method to buy the licensed software for the Operating System.

Similarly Microsoft Office 2007 also can be purchased as COEM licences along with the brand new PCs or laptops.

Some of the other products, such as small Business Servers are also available as a COEM product.
